Fiestas del Sol is a fair that happens every year in my hometown of Mexicali. It's a place where vendors and artists from the region and the country come to sell their goods and crafts. It also offers musical entertainment with artists both local and of national renown, traditional food, and rides. For my take on the event, I wanted to create a design that represented Mexicali in its essence: the valley, the sunny summers, the bullring, and its Chinese community.
